Kindle Fire Tablet
Review
Are you considering the teblet
for kids? The Kindle Fire is a 7" color tablet, just the right size for
kids to hold. It has access to lots of eBooks including color titles, and
video, music, games, apps and web browsing too.
The Kindle Fire is a 7"
tablet so it's quite a bit smaller than a full-size iPad. For younger kids
especially I think this is an advantage in many cases. A smaller, lighter
device is easier for kids hands to manage.
The touchscreen interface is
intuitive for kids and The screen has also been designed to be scratch
resistant which is reassuring.
The Kindle Fire has lots of
content that will be interesting to kids. There are eBooks, audio books and
music, instant video for TV shows and movies. Games and apps from the Amazon
AppStore and more new titles appearing all the time. There are lots of things
that kids will enjoy doing.
There's a new basic Kindle Fire
which has been upgraded from the original model and had the price dropped. This
is the cheapest model and a good budget option for kids.
It's missing some of the
features of the more advanced models, but it's better than the original.
